End of Year Gratitude

As I have said before, this year has been the hardest year of my life. I am glad it is coming to a close and that 2015 is right around the corner full of new possibilities and a second chance at taking care of myself like I should. I noticed today, I was spending most of my morning beating myself up for the things I didn’t do, and the things I wished I had done better. I then decided it was time to bring out the ol’ gratitude list, and in the spirit of a new year on the horizon, a very personal list of my goals for the coming year.

1. hope
2. my wonderful, amazing, supportive husband
3. seed catalogs
4. friends and family
5. the ability to choose
6. creativity
7. my animals
8. my health
9. the power to create my destiny
10. passion

1. stop letting fear rule me
2. finish herbalism school
3. be kind to myself
4. slow down
5. let my passions pave my path
6. meditate daily
7. love myself fearlessly
8. do not stop moving forward and growing as a person
9. laugh more
10. don’t let other’s negativity dictate my future

Please share your goals and gratitude in the comments section if you feel so moved.

  1. What a wonderful list, both to be grateful for and to aspire to. I was never one for New Year’s resolutions. I like thinking back and looking forward, and of course a goal or two is always nice to keep us going, but I’ve always found them stressful. But I like yours because they are goals to easily be woven into your daily life and I wish for you nothing but a happy daily life for the upcoming year. ❤

  2. I am grateful to have met you in 2014, and it is my opinion that you handled your difficult year with grace. I think 2015 is going to be so amazing for you. See you soon!!

  3. I remember last year sitting around the fire with you burning our 2013 regrets. 2014 certainly offered challenges, but one thing I am truly grateful for is that I had friends like you to climb those mountains. Here’s to a year of mountaintop experiences in 2015! Love you!
