Bits and Pieces

We got to work in the garden all weekend long. Things are really starting to take shape! Here are some photos my dad took for us over the weekend:

  1. Things look awesome! It must have felt great to spend the weekend in the garden. I have a (newbie) question about gardening: what is the string/lines running over the top of some raised beds? Are they to help support whatever’s growing there?

  3. We are interested in creating a community garden, at our church, can you be of any assistance? Your information was passed to me, and i was researching your site, but didnt find answers to what DoubleNUrbanFarm does. Thank.

    • Hi. We are a small urban farm located in Inglewood. We grow food for a small 10 family CSA and grow herbs used for an online apothecary. I have been in communication with Lisa Johnson about this as well. If you could send me some info as to what you are looking for, that would be great so I would know whether I would be able to help you. You can email me at nrmattingly@gmail. Thanks and have a great day!
